As part of the Queer Porto Festival, the documentary João Gabriel: The Last Day of Summer will be screened, on December 3rd, at 4.30 p.m., in the small auditorium of the Rivoli Theatre, in Porto (PT).
Directed by Bernardo Nabais, with the support of the gallery Lehmann + Silva, this film proposes a journey to the origin of the creative process of João Gabriel. A work marked by the presence of the male figure, eroticism, and desire from American pornographic films of the 70s and 80s. The search for erotic tension is the starting point for an essay on figures that leave explicit universes to make us enter into a game of shadows with faceless characters.
