Pursuing its policy of supporting artistic development and research in the field of art, the Julio Pomar Atelier-Museum / EGEAC, in partnership with RU - Residency Unlimited, NY, annually provides to a Portuguese artist, or duo of artists, a 3-month residency at that New York institution.
The artist is proposed and nominated by an independent jury of recognized merit, this year composed by João Laia, Filipa Oliveira and Sara Antónia Matos, representing the Atelier-Museum, chose Joana da Conceição as the artist in residence of the fifth edition of this partnership, which will take place between February and April 2020.
