On May 20, the installation Hidden in the cave we forge of one another opens at Batalha Centro de Cinema, in Porto (PT).
In 2021, Lisbon-based independent Pântano Books (Alice dos Reis and Isadora Pedro Neves Marques) published O Livro de Frank, the first Portuguese translation of a book by celebrated American poet CAConrad. Taking advantage of this encounter, Batalha invited both artists to scheme an installation project together with and around the prolific work of CAConrad. The focus will be on the writer's poetry work, who authored the poetic style [Soma]tics — a form of writing that involves the body and everything that surrounds it.

Aiming to offer a distinctive introduction of the poet’s work to the public, the installation will include filmic elements produced in New York City in the summer of 2022 and new works developed from written material by CAConrad.
