On March 16, the group exhibition Das große Metzeln. Le Grand Carnage opens at Kunsthalle Trier, in Trier (DE), featuring works by Alice Morey.
The Kunsthalle Trier is organizing an anniversary exhibition on the subject of meat in contemporary art to mark the 30th anniversary of the Kunsthalle. The group exhibition entitled “The Great Slaughter – Le Grand Carnage” uses a variety of artistic positions to illuminate aspects of slaughter and the depiction of animal bodies as well as a critical examination of the use of animal materials such as blood, meat and skin. The art exhibition "Das große Metzeln" is accompanied by the art history department of the University of Trier under the supervision of Dr. Stephan Brakensiek.
