To celebrate the 15 years of MACE - Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Elvas, the program “15 anos de MACE – Aqui somos Rede” was created under the artistic direction of Ana Cristina Cachola, comprising exhibitions, performances, mediation activities, and workshops, proposing a circuit through various spaces in the city of Elvas, with the aim of encouraging closer ties between heritage, the city, and contemporary artistic production.
In addition to the exhibition "Quem nos salva?", featuring works by Alice dos Reis, Diana Policarpo, Joana da Conceição, and João Gabriel, held at MACE, which houses the António Cachola Collection, several national contemporary art institutions were invited to participate. Among them, the João Luís Traça Collection is presenting works by Diana Policarpo, Quérela is presenting an installation by Joana da Conceição, and the Marin Gaspar Collection is presenting works by João Gabriel.

This initiative takes place between 15 July and 15 August, in the historic center of Elvas (PT).
